Employment Regulations
Dubai Technology & Media Free Zone has it's own employment regulations:

- Decision No. 3 of 2008 Concerning Penalties for Breach of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Employment Regulations 2004
Dispute Resolution
Section 9 deals with ‘Resolution of Labour Disputes between employers and employees’. DTMFZA is not responsible for the resolution of any labor disputes arising between a licensee and an employee. In the event of a labor dispute arising between a licensee and an employee, DTMFZA will, on the application of either the licensee or the employee, issue a letter on behalf of DTMFZA referring the dispute to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs may, in turn, refer the matter to the Dubai Courts. No labor dispute may proceed directly to either the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs or the Dubai Courts without being referred by DTMFZA. DTMFZA will implement any decision or order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs or the Dubai Courts.
